Job description : Payroll & HR Officer


  • HSC or equivalent qualifications minimum
  • Computer literate (Microsoft, word, excel, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of payroll and HR
  • Perform duties with high degree of skills and accuracy
  • Maintain high confidentiality of records and operations of the cluster
  • Assist queries promptly and courteously



  • Compile, monitor, verify and reconcile personal data for the payroll and benefits transactions including posting of data
  • Compute Overtime and process the payroll and Issue payslips and statement of earnings
  • Record and maintain employee information such as exemptions, transfers, and resignation in the HRM system
  • Upload and set payment to statutory offices
  • Process payroll and issue relevant reports as requested while ensuring strict confidentiality of information
  • Prepare payroll reports, verify and reconcile payroll items
  • Reconcile and prepare medical scheme records for payment

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment records
  • Generate HR reports as needed
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare letters when needed

Training & Development

  • Follow up with the HRDC for the G1 & G3
  • Coordinate and support training programs as required
