
The ‘Stevenson Dry Dock’ acquired in 1914, is still in operation and can currently accommodate ships of up to 130m high and 18m wide, maximum permissible draft- 5.0 m (A)
The Hay Dock, leased to the company in 1939, was originally used a dock for the fitting and equipment of ships. It ceased operating in 1862, was reopened in 1998 and can currently accommodate and service ships up to 100m high and 14m wide,
maximum permissible draft- 4.20 m (A)
Dry Docking
1. The Stevenson Dry Dock - 130 x 18 meters. Maximum permissible draft: 5mts.
2. The Hay Dry Dock - 100 x 13 meters. Maximum permissible draft: 4m20.
3. General maintenance of the ship's hull.
4. Dry Blasting (sand and grit).
5. Woodwork repairs.
6. High pressure water cleaning.
7. Servicing of liferafts(RFD, CSM, Eurovinyl).
8. Overhaul to main engines and auxiliaries.
9. Overhauling of seavalves.
10. Propeller shaft Survey.
11. Flaw detection tests.
12. Ultrasonic testing.
13. Piping works, pipe repairs and steel renewal.(Coded welders - BV)
14. Rewinding of electric motors.
