Engaged
in the production, marketing and distribution of paint and
allied products since 1988, Sofap Ltd.
has
a

long-lasting
history of quality and innovation in the Mauritian paint industry. |
Today, it is one of the largest paint and coatings manufacturers
on the island. It operates from a 4300 m2 factory which houses laboratory
facilities for R&D and quality control.
Sofap
Ltd. is the local accredited licensee of Crown Paints, a well-known
paint manufacturer in U.K and as such manufactures and distributes
paints under the PERMOGLAZE brand. Sofap Ltd. is also the local
authorized representative of the following international brands:
Sikkens and Dynacoat (automobile paints manufactured by Akzo Nobel),
Earthcote (paints for textured living), Altex Coatings (marine paints)
and Chryso (construction additives).

We
aspire to become the regional coatings reference by growing exports

Eric
Adam joined Sofap ltd as General Manager in January 2005
after 11 years in various management positions within the
Rogers Group, more particularly in the Sales and Marketing
field. He worked and studied in the Republic of South-Africa
from 1984 to 1989 and holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting
Science (B-Compt) from the University of South-Africa.

Rajendra
has over 20 years experience in R&D, Product Development,
Production, Quality Assurance , Technical Services, Materials
planning and Project Management in the Paints Industry.
Rajendra is a specialist in conceptualizing and developing
new paint formulations for decorative and industrial applications,
and runs the company’s plant of over 100 employees
on the production floor.
He is the holder of a 1st Calss, B.Sc Tech (Paint Technology)
from University Department of Chemical Technology –UDCT,
Mumbai; and a 1st Class B.Sc (Chemistry) from Pune University.

Philippe
Leung is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered
Certified Accountants. He joined SOFAP Ltd in July 2007.
He has over 15 years, significant hands on experience in
the textile industry, in hotel and tourism as well as the
retail industry.

Guillaume
Jauffret has 10 years experience in the Commercial and Industrial
environment. He joined Sofap Ltd. as Sales Manager in 2006,
having spent 7 years in management positions at Henkel Chemicals
(Mauritius) Ltd. He holds a Diploma in Business Management
from the University of Surrey, and a Diploma in Marketing
and Management from Varsity College.
