Overview
Since
1986, Aqualia-DPI Ltd has specialized in the manufacture of
PVC and Polyethylene pipes to |
international standards MS ISO 4422-2, MS ISO 3633, ISO 4435
and MS ISO 4427 respectively. The certification of our Quality
Management system to ISO 9001: 2000 is further evidence of
our total commitment to quality. In 2004 the company engaged
into a strategic joint venture with DPI Plastics Ltd of South
Africa www.dpiplastics.co.za
, providing the business with increased technical know-how
and competencies. Knowledge sharing and transfer is an on-going
process between the two companies, promoting a performance
and quality culture throughout the organization. |
In
addition to the manufacturing and distribution of pipes and fittings,
we have a dedicated unit to Irrigation and Pumps.
Our
customer base both in the private and public sectors, includes retail
outlets, parastatal bodies such as the Central Electricity Board
and the Central Water Authority, as well as building and civil contractors,
hotels and the Manufacturing and Sugar Industries amongst others.

Pipes
and fittings
In addition to our locally manufactured range of pipes, we also
offer the following pipes and fittings, from our partner DPI Plastics
Ltd in South Africa:

UPVC and MPVC pipes and associated fittings for potable water
distribution, irrigation, drainage, gravity, sewerage, electrical
and telecommunication ducts.
- TEK FLO
ductile iron pipes and fittings.
- Cast iron
valves for the water industries.

Afzal

General Manager |
A graduate
in Chemical Technology from the University of South Bank
(UK), Afzal joined Aqualia-DPI Ltd in 1986 as Factory Manager.
Under
his management, the factory was awarded its ISO 9001and
various other products' certification. The company has since
positioned itself in a leading role in the industry. Afzal
was appointed General Manager of Aqualia-DPI Ltd in 2003.

Shu
Sales & Marketing Manager |
Paul
obtained his graduation as Civil Engineer in Germany in
1986, he worked for about 4 years with a local construction
company as Site Engineer.
Since July 1990, he has been involved in sales of building
materials (mainly Pipes & fittings) and joined Aqualia
DPI Ltd as Sales & Marketing Manager in October 2002.

Sales & Marketing Manager |
Gerald
has a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the
Natal Technikon in Durban, RSA. He has 16 years experience
in the industrial, sales and marketing sectors. He has considerable
management and commercial experience in the sector. He joined
Aqualia DPI in 2006 as Sales & Marketing Manager for
this division..

Kunal
Ramsahaye
Production Manager |
Kunal has a Master’s
Degree in Mechatronics from the University of Limoges in
France. After his graduation, he worked in automobile production
in an American company as Research, Development & Quality
Engineer.
Kunal joined
Aqualia in April 2009 as Maintenance Engineer. Since June
2010 , he is the Production Manager and is responsible for
the overall production and maintenance of the factory.
